He quickly diagnosed the problem and efficiently fixed it, providing a sense of relief in a stressful situation. (His prompt response and thorough work ensured that the emergency was handled with minimal disruption.)

Johnny carefully looked over the work we needed and offered excellent options on how best to approach the job, which included cost-savings by bundling the toilet tank rebuild instead of just the bolts and gasket, and replacing the shutoff valve (which was way overdue). Johnny also found the most cost-effective solution for diagnosing our tub faucet and handles replacement. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and professionalism. Work completed and tested thoroughly. Excellent!
Appointment was made quickly, and follow-up calls were received to confirm the day before and day of, which gave me confidence on the time window. Everyone's time is valuable, so this is really great customer service.
We previously had a great experience with Kelly, who expertly diagnosed a pipe leak from our water heater and got it fixed perfectly.

Return visit 5 stars again with Luke this time to replace shower control cartridge. I also got a lot of helpful advice how to manage various plumbing controls etc. like how to increase water tanks heat. We had just come back from 2 week vacation and the dripping shower had gotten worse of course. I called and got appointment same day to get it fixed. Great service. Extra treat was to take out the flow restriction gasket inside shower head. Put there by EPA rules to reduce water flow.

Jun 11, 2023Previous reviewAlways first rate. Latest job was to replace shower cartridge which had been installed improperly by independent plumber years ago. One can get appointment now very soon after calling. In May I called got appointment for next day. They called back soon after and asked if they could come right now as prior job finished early. Also explained hot water heating problem and they provided a free fix on prior work to get hot water faster in kitchen. Well done.

As we are coming out of the Feb 2021 deep freeze I was concerned about possible leaks and prevention. He took the time to answer my questions and what might/might not happen. They are very busy right now with emergency work after days of below zero temps. I hope I don't have to call as well. BTW: if you don't know how to shut off your water inside/outside learn how before you need to.
Feb 28, 2020Previous reviewLegacy to the rescue. We had a leaking garbage disposal and one phone call and they were there in 45 minutes. Save the day and kitchen. They offered 3 options; go buy one myself, or select from one of two they carried on truck right now. We went with their model. Plumber took out old unit and replaced with new one. No fuss nor muss.

My water heaters were way overdue to be replaced as well as internals for several toilets in house. So after checking Yelp, Google reviews and local NextDoor.com I picked them. One phone call to set things up, they provided a quote over the phone and we arranged to have all the work done within a week. Crew arrived as scheduled and got right to it. Job was estimated to take 6 hours and they needed it to remove old tanks from attic and down flight of stairs. And reverse the process to get them into the attic and hook them up. During the day the crew offered advice on home owner's DIY projects I was considering. They kept the work place clean and took away all the debris. Legacy Plumbing contacted the city code dept to arrange for their inspection. In discussing the hot water tank heaters I mentioned the delay in getting hot water to the downstairs master bathroom which is located on other side of house. As an added-on they installed a comfort system pump and manifold which greatly reduced time to get hot water to all locations. They also installed a flood stop valve and sensor in case of water leaks. Extra but worth it. I have included photos of the work for this review. UPDATE Six weeks after water tanks with leak sensor installed. The leak alert for my attic water tanks went off and stopped the hot water flow thru the circulating pump on Sat night. A call to Legacy Plumbing resulted in over the phone attempts to fix the problem which didn't work. So they committed to arriving very early Sunday morning which they did on time. Fifteen minutes to examine problem, change batteries on leak alarm sensor and more important discover the wet leak sensor from Sat 5/18/19 fierce storms. All fixed and hot water again. OooRah! its a Marine thing.
BTW: Legacy Plumbing had just installed two new water tanks with leak sensor just six week prior so I was a known customer on their gold service plan. So I got what I paid for and more. He had a counterpart with him on two of the jobs, each time they were great. He was very patient, very transparent and just made the whole process a whole lot less stressful. We knew we were in good hands. As a first time home owner, certain situations are pretty overwhelming and we are very grateful that we got to work with him. Hubert provided us with quality work, very respectful, and just a good guy. Can't say that for all companies, however for Legacy Plumbing, they seem to have that department down. They were very easy to work with, prompt and remained consistent with their work. If you're looking for quality work and great service, look no further than Legacy Plumbing.
