Presented by Collin Bank and Forest Park Medical Center, this luncheon will cover how just ONE new job being created in or relocated to Frisco impacts various economic factors, including real estate, retail and leisure...and what it means to business owners and professionals in the greater area.
Our featured speaker will be M. Elizabeth Morris, founder of Insight Research Corporation, and chief executive officer and chief economist for the firm. With more than 38 years in the field, she specializes in applied regional economics and serves as an expert witness in various aspects of land use, real estate market dynamics, economic analysis and public policy.
Insight Research specializes in investment-grade financial forecasting, rail transportation and public/private partnership analysis, providing site location and economic impact analysis for cities, counties and states. In its 31-year history, Insight has contributed to site selection decisions affecting the workplace location of more than 2.1 million workers, and completed more than 9,000 economic analyses in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Ms. Morris will also provide insight into:
- bank funding available to Texas versus that available on the west and east coasts and alternative sources being utilized to create space/inventory, and how these impact development.
- the attributes to protect that are helping North Texas attract new businesses and create new jobs.
- the new industry segments coming into Frisco and the impact on various multipliers.
- a pre-budget briefing comparing our local economy to that of Texas as a whole and to the entire United States.
Tickets to the luncheon are $35 and $40 per person for chamber members and non-members, respectively. Table sponsorships are also available for $500, providing premier seating for 8.
